ss5 (1.8mm) Swarovski Hotfix Flatback Crystals

2038 Xilion Rose Swarovski wholesale pack of 1440 hotfix flatback crystals sized SS5 (1.8mm) are also known as iron on rhinestones or iron on crystals as well as gems, sequins and diamantes.  The ss5 (1.8mm) is the smallest sized hotfix flatback crystals which Swarovski produces and are an ideal hotfix crystal for applying to greeting cards, including Christmas cards, birthday cards or wedding stationery such as invitations, save the date, table plan, thank you cards and name places.

You can also create your own small transfer design using our hotfix transfer film. You may have an image on your t-shirt that you would like to add some subtle sparkle to; these are the crystals for you! (Please note that some transfers on garments are made of an oil based material and the crystal will not adhere).

These hotfix crystals, also known as iron on crystals, are applied using heat. If you are using the Kandi Kane Hotfix Applicator to secure crystals to your garments and accessories, Crystal Parade would recommend that you use the specific ss6 tip as the heat from the tip will melt the glue in approximately 6 seconds.

If you would like to put your own design, ie. name or club logo on your garments including hoodie, caps, shorts, jackets, dance costume or t-shirt, you can easily do this by drawing the logo/your design with classroom chalk (washable) or a faint marker and once you are happy with your design can use the Kandi Kane Hotfix Applicator Wand to place each hotfix crystal, evenly spaced out, over the design.  Once you have placed the hotfix crystals securely onto your garment it is possible to either brush the chalk off or place the garment in the washing machine on a low heat and the marks will be removed leaving your hotfix crystal design!

The advantage of using hotfix crystals is that using the Kandi Kane applicator wand makes applying the crystals quickly and precisely whilst eliminating the use of glue, which can sometimes be messy.

If you are applying crystals to a wedding veil or netting the team at Crystal Parade would recommend that you use hotfix crystals to avoid any glue seaping through the netting, whereas the glue on the back of the hotfix crystal will melt and stick to the veil or netting leaving a much neater finish.

If you are a bride and would like to add sparkle to your hen night party t-shirts, hoodies, wedding dress, wedding stationery or satin wedding shoes then the Swarovski hotfix crystal applied using the Hotfix Kandi Kane is a fabulous tool!
